Introduction to Tecmo Heroes

Tecmo Heroes is a website dedicated to the archiving of our records on the hands down greateset sports game of all time - Tecmo Super Bowl. On the left sidebar is a collection of records organized by how you can view them in the League Leaders screen of Tecmo. The records listed here will be be in the following format:

TYPE: ###, PLAYER (TEAM, USER, SEASON #)

Type = The type of record, season or game.
### = The record number.
Player = The name of the player as it appears in Tecmo Super Bowl.
Team = The team this player was used on.
User = The initials of the user that accomplished this record.
Season # = Refers to the season number (when the record was accomplished).

The Emulator

If you don't have a Nintendo Entertainment System available here is what I suggest for playing Tecmo Super Bowl on your Computer:

This awesome emulator has input configurations that will work with most USB controllers and sick anti-aliasing along with network play. I would have to say its easily the best NES emulator I have ever used. You will need the kaillera Peer to Peer Client dll's available from this website: http://www.tecmoworld.com/ntl/nestopiaguide/

Extract both Kaillera dll's and put them in your 1.40 Nestopia directory. Follow the guide on the site in order to play Tecmo Super Bowl online.

Original Tecmo Rom with all current 32 NFL teams, updated rosters and statistics. One of the best available 2009 ROMs that also allows you to change the quarter length and weather.
